Construction company help Hollybank buy specially adapted nursery equipment

Donations from businesses and supporters make a huge difference here at Hollybank – they help us to continue to provide quality of life for the children, young people and adults that live and learn here by enabling us to buy extra equipment that we wouldn’t normally be able to afford.

The past twelve months has been extremely hard on lots of people, so we’re super thankful to those organisations and individuals who have still been able to support the work we do.

One of these organisations is Caddick Construction Ltd, who have donated a generous amount to our super special nursery. Caddick have donated £560 to enable us to buy specially adapted outdoor equipment for our nursery.

We really appreciate all donations and support, and we know this generous donation will greatly benefit the children who attend our nursery provision.

We’re really grateful to Caddick for choosing to support our nursery. Many of our children are wheelchair users, so the donation will be funding some accessible equipment to make it easier for them to get involved in gardening activities and enhance the quality of their learning. Our children love being outside, and this equipment will really help us put smiles on their faces.

We were able to give a member of the Caddick team a Covid-safe external tour of our main site in Mirfield, to help them see just where the equipment will go and to help them understand the impact a kind donation like this one has on Hollybank.

We’re very thankful to Caddick Construction, and look forward to working with them more closely in the future.

Free nursery places available

We are a government-approved provider of nursery education and are able to offer funded places for children who are aged between two and four. It’s usually taken as 15 hours a week for 38 weeks of the year. Many of our nursery children go on to join our school, but not all of them. You can download a flyer here to find out more.
