We were thrilled to find out that our school was nominated to benefit from Direct Line’s ‘Force for Good Laptop Initiative’ recently – and even more thrilled to discover that our application was successful!
The Direct Line Group’s Community Fund has distributed £3.5million to local communities so far, to support the most vulnerable members of society who have been struggling during these difficult times.
“This grant will be a big boost for our school, allowing us to purchase iPads which will enable our teachers and staff team to keep in touch with parents and families, in a safe and professional manner,” Dawn Hufton, our school’s family support officer said.
“They’ll also help us document each child’s educational journey too, so that we can share this with parents and families through our evidence for learning app.”
This grant will greatly benefit the children who learn here at Hollybank, giving them access to a range of apps that best meet their individual needs. We’d like to say a huge thank you to Direct Line for choosing Hollybank!
