This year’s theme was our very own music festival, #Hollyfest and we celebrated with lots of different types of music including a samba band and a Hollybank Makaton session, performed by our speech & language therapy team. There was also lots of glitter and body art too! We provided a free picnic bag, a free ice cream and we held some recognition sessions to recognise achievements reached by our staff teams, and the people we support too. We were lucky enough to have one of the Deputy Lieutenants in attendance to help us present some of our awards to our staff.
We’d like to thank all of the wonderful artists who attended, including the catering services we used for this year’s Celebration Day. We would also like to say a huge thank you to the the Mayor of Kirklees for attending the day and for celebrating with us, it’s great to make those community links.
We had a really wonderful day celebrating our organisation and everything we do, and it was great to see so many of the people we support and their families celebrating with us too.
