2-5 Year Olds
Our nursery caters for children aged 2-5. Our specially trained nursery staff work closely with Locala and a range of other professionals to make sure your child gets the support and care they need.
We work closely with parents and carers so that your child is prepared for when they move on up to school, either here at Hollybank or their next setting. The first step is to get in touch with us directly.
We are a government-approved provider of nursery education and are able to offer funded places for children who are aged between two and four. We currently have free nursery places available. It’s usually taken as 15 hours a week for 38 weeks of the year. Many of our nursery children go on to join our school.
We offer children the opportunity to explore in a disability friendly outdoor classroom including a Mud Kitchen, Sunken Wheelchair friendly Trampoline and specialist swing. The staff support children’s Communication with Alternative Communication aids, singing and sensory stories.
Children’s sensory needs are focused on with access to a range of visually stimulating resources including the use of a darkroom and specialist equipment.
