Senior Support Worker (Rowan Court, Holmfirth)

Hours: Full-time
Salary: £12.48 per hour

Ideally located for people living in Meltham, Honley, and Huddersfield, and with great public transport links, Rowan Court is a vibrant 15-bed residential service for adults with profound and multiple learning disabilities and complex needs.

Each of the three floors has its own personality, suited to meet the needs of the adults we care for, but day to day duties will include:

  • Supervising our dedicated team of Support Worker
  • Promoting person-centred, high quality care
  • Conducting supervisions and one to ones with staff
  • Auditing, updating, and reviewing documentation
  • Administering and auditing medication(s)
Senior Rota Mon Tues Weds Thurs Fri Sat Sun
Week 1 7am – 2:30pm 7am – 2:30pm off off off 7am – 2:30pm 7am – 9:30pm
Week 2 2pm – 9:30pm 7am – 2:30pm 2pm – 9:30pm off 7am – 9:30pm off off
Week 3 2pm – 9:30pm 7am – 2:30pm off off off 7am – 2:30pm 7am – 9:30pm
Week 4 2pm – 9:30pm 2pm – 9:30pm Admin Day 7am – 9:30pm off off off

This is an example of a typical 37hr rota, including long shifts. Not all rotas will be identical to this, and  long shifts are optional, however all rotas will include alternate weekends. Rotas are issued 4 – 6 weeks in advance, so you can plan ahead for days off.
